After weeks of high-pressure projects and taking care of her family, she is finally relaxed and ready to take on the day. She checks out with the spa front desk which directs her to see a collection of sparkling gemstone jewelry. Each piece includes the spa’s logo. Valentina deeply connects to a bracelet with a crystal that speaks to her. She purchases it in addition to her service, walks out the door, and heads to her car. She immediately checks her email which is requesting an urgent call from one of her challenging clients. She peers down at her new bracelet and remembers the massage. She calls back her client who is frustrated, however, Valentina looks down at her bracelet and calmly responds to her client in a helpful and assertive way. As a result, the client does not affect Valentina’s blissful state of relaxation.

The ending to Valentina’s blissful experience in the first scenario occurred as soon as she checked her email, however in the second scenario, the positive experience continued well beyond after she left the spa. As a result, the bracelet combined with the memory of the experience creates an everlasting connection to the brand.

I have the privilege to work with some of the most incredibly beautiful hotels and spas around the world. As a result, I have the opportunity to connect to clients around the world, most of which I will never meet in-person. You have that ability too.
