Hair Apparent: Hairstyles That Go from Sweats to Sequins {And Everything in Between!} July 31, 2012 – Posted in: Uncategorized

As a woman, hair has always been an extension of my spontaneous, fun-loving and at times, OCD personality.

The thought of chopping it off always seemed exciting, but I never thought I could actually go through with it. Never having any nervousness to go from drastically blonde to black, cutting my locks seemed like the scariest thing possible. Have you ever felt like that?

How long does it take hair to grow?

{WOW} I was wrong!

On a split {end} decision, hours before an international flight that would be traversing the globe from Cape Town, South Africa to Dallas, TX, I decided I would end our vacation with a bang {or some sharp shears!} A bit on my jetsetting hairstyle story here:

Something else I realized? The look and feel of jewelry can completely change depending on hair length and style! When I had long hair, I usually opted for some great earrings or perhaps a great back necklace when my hair was pulled back.

1. Custom Order: “Crystal Riviera” Back Necklace + Earrings

2. Custom Order: “Punta Cana Azul” Necklace

3. “Thai Orchid” Necklace (available)

4. “Turquoise Mermaid Chandelier Earrings (available)

Now having short and usually straight hair, I still opt for earrings but find I can wear anything from very small to large and it gives a totally different look and feel. Long necklaces also feel pretty amazing! In addition, with short hair (or hair that is worn up/back) statement necklaces are p-r-e-t-t-y amazing!

From sweats to sequins you can instantaneously change your look with some low-key or super glam jewels!
